Water Pipes
Spirally welded water pipes offer a range of advantages, including:
- The ability to withstand higher operation pressure,
- The noticeable bandage effect gives the spiral welded pipes additional resisting force to bursting.
- Spiral pipe, by nature of process is exceptionally straight and circular.
- The pipes are manufactured from quality steel strips, with minimum tolerance, achieving a uniformity of thickness over the entire length.
- The flexibility of spiral welded pipes allows it to be used in difficult terrain, and external shock situations including washouts and floods and extreme temperature changes.
- The spiral process produces an extremely reliable weld, which is significantly less affected by circumferential (hoop) stress than a longitudinally welded seam.
