Arcelor Profil Luxembourg, the production unit for long products in the Arcelor Group, is the world's leading manufacturer of sheet piles and bearing piles and has been playing a leading role in the development of piling technology for over ninety years.

Arcelor steel sheet piles are characterised largely by a good ratio of section modulus to weight and a high moment of inertia. The sheet piles are used in the construction of quays and harbours, locks and moles and bank reinforcement on rivers and canals. Other applications include protection of excavations on land and in water, and excavation work for bridge abutments, retaining walls and foundation structures.
