Aluminium Sheet Piles
Amorware products (sheet piles,
wales, rods and caps) use a combination of synthetics and high performance metallics specifically
intended to perform in the marine environment. The high performance marine grade alloy was chosen
for its long term structural performance in corrosive environments.
The mechanical properties of
aluminium has been extensively tested and widely accepted in the engineering community. Generally,
being a fully isotropic and relatively stiff material allows designers to use traditional design
and solid mechanics theory when using aluminium components. There are extensive resources and
codes in existence for structural aluminium. Many of these can be found
